More than 100 displaced by fire in apartment building on Chicago's Near West Side
A total of 100 people were displaced Wednesday night after an apartment fire on Chicago's Near West Side.
Chicago police said the fire broke out around 9:30 p.m. in the Oakley Square Apartments, an affordable housing community at 2333 W. Jackson Blvd.
No one was hurt, but the fire caused the power to go out in the building.
Police said the fire appears to be accidental.
