Moore's Cutler Comments Draw Ire Of Lovie Smith

(WSCR) Days after speaking out about how he felt when Jay Cutler bumped J'Marcus Webb during last Thursday's Bears-Packers game, D.J. Moore was in hot water with his head coach.

"He wasn't happy at all,'' Moore told the Sun-Times on Wednesday. "He said, 'Don't say it in this setting' or 'don't say it here'' or "don't say it there.' He was just telling me the right way to do stuff.''

When asked about Cutler's actions, Moore wasn't hiding his feelings.

"I don't think you can act like that,'' Moore had said of Cutler on Monday. "To make it seem like it's just (Webb's) fault, I think it's just wrong. I would feel some kind of way if he was to do me like that, to make it seem like, 'Well, the reason I'm having a bad game is because of what you're doing and not about me taking accountability for myself because I'm throwing these type of passes and doing these type of reads.' It's a tough situation.''

This, of course, comes just one day after Smith told the media he had no problem with Moore's comments.

"D.J. Moore said that? I have no problem with any of our guys ... I have a problem with a 'teammate said' or 'source said.' But if you put your name behind something and you want to voice your opinion, you can voice it," Smith said. "But again for us, it was business as usual today. We're getting our football team better."
