Man Dead After Being Found Shot In Maywood Forest Preserve
MAYWOOD, Ill. (CBS) -- A man is dead after being found in a forest preserve in Maywood with a gunshot Thursday afternoon.
Maywood police said a 29-year-old man was found in the Maywood Grove forest preserve with a gunshot wound.
He was taken to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, where he was pronounced dead at 2:15 p.m., police said.
Maywood police and Cook County Forest Preserve police were investigating Thursday evening.
