Last Mass Vaccination Site In Cook County Closes
FOREST (CBS)-- Cook County's last mass vaccination site shut down on Wednesday.
Vaccines were given out until noon Wednesday at the former Target in Matteson. Afterward, its doors will close.
Demand has dropped to fewer than 1,000 daily at all of Cook County's sites.
Mass vaccination sites in Forest Park and Des Plaines closed Tuesday.
Workers left the Forest Park site Wednesday, with some well-deserved applause from all the health care workers and National Guard members as they left the site.
Around 58% of people who live in suburban Cook County have had at least one dose.
