Man Shot In Back Of The Yards
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was shot early Monday in the Back of the Yards neighborhood on the South Side.
The 24-year-old was standing outside in the 5400 block of South Justine Street about 1:20 a.m. when he heard gunfire and realized he'd shot in the hip and leg, police said.
He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition, police said.
A police source said the man is a documented gang member.
