Man Robs Bank In Chatham

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A Chase Bank branch was robbed Tuesday afternoon in the Chatham neighborhood on the South Side.

The non-takeover robbery happened at the branch at 353 W. 83rd St. at 2:21 p.m., FBI spokesman Garrett Croon said.

The suspect was described as a 5-foot-6 black man in his 40s with a slim build, and salt-and-pepper hair, according to the FBI. He was wearing a blue shirt with yellow lettering.

The same man is believed to be responsible for the Thursday morning robbery of a Chase bank branch at 6650 S. Stoney Island, according to the FBI.
