Man Dressed As Construction Worker Robs Bank
CHICAGO (STMW) -- Authorities are looking for a man dressed as a construction worker who robbed a Near North Side bank Thursday afternoon.
A man wearing a white construction hat, goggles, an orange construction vest, white sweatshirt, white scarf and gloves robbed the North Community Bank branch at 2 W. Elm St. about 2:36 p.m., according to the FBI.
The suspect is black, between 6-foot-1 and 6-foot-4. He did not display a weapon, but made away with an undisclosed amount of cash after demanding money in what the FBI is calling a non-takeover robbery.
