Man Charged With Stealing Medical Van In Gary
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A Gary, Ind., man has been charged with stealing a medical van early Saturday.
Robert Merrill Jr. is accused of stealing a medical transport van in the 600 block of East 39th Avenue in Gary in the early morning hours of Dec. 5, Gary police said in a statement.
Officers located 36-year-old Merrill, who lives in Gary, after he was seen in the area running away from the stolen vehicle, police said. He was arrested and charged with auto theft.
