Man Charged In Christmas 2012 Shooting
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man has been charged after he allegedly shot his girlfriend in the head on Christmas Day last year in the South Side Woodlawn neighborhood.
Jesse Thomas, 22, was charged with attempted murder, aggravated domestic battery and aggravated battery/discharge of a firearm, police said.
About 9:40 p.m. on Dec. 25, 2012, Thomas allegedly shot his girlfriend in the 1900 block of South Harding Avenue, according to police and previous reports.
The woman, then 27, was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition, police said.
Thomas, of the 1800 block of South Karlov Avenue, is scheduled to appear in bond court Saturday.
