John Deere Workers Continue Strike, On The Picket Line Since October
CHICAGO (CBS) -- More than 10,000 workers at Deere & Company said they'll stay on strike.
They've rejected a deal that would have given them 10% raises. Deere workers in Illinois, Iowa and Kansas have been on the picket line since October 14.
The workers said the raises and improved benefits offered aren't enough. A separate group of 100 workers in Colorado and Georgia voted to accept the contract.
