Illini Recruiting P. Diddy's Son
(CBS) Illinois recently offered high school cornerback Justin Combs, the son of rapper Sean "P. Diddy" Combs, a scholarship, according to Scout.com.
Combs is a 5-foot-9, 175-pound defensive back at Iona Prep in New York and until recently only had one offer from a BCS school (Virginia). But Combs recently told Scout.com that he had picked up an offer from Illinois and was planning on making a visit to Champaign soon.
The cornerback has picked up recruiting momentum recently as Iowa, West Virginia, UCLA and Arizona State have expressed interest.
