CHICAGO (CBS) -- Chicago Police are investigating a homicide in East Hyde Park.

Authorities say they were responding to a call of shots fired in the area of 54th and South Cornell when they found a 39-year-old man shot to death on the sidewalk.

He was shot multiple times.

No one is in custody.
