Hall of Fame pitcher Robin Roberts dies at 83
Hall of Fame pitcher Robin Roberts passed away this morning. Roberts spent 19 seasons in Major League Baseball and finished his career with the Cubs. He pitched in 11 games for the Cubs in 1966. The majority of his career was spent with the Phillies. He was a native of Springfield, Illinois and was 83 years old.
