The Logan Square Farmers Market is filled with children, dogs, bikes and live music. It's become a weekly gathering space where friendships are forged and the vibe is more small town community than urban anonymity. Check out the freshest local produce and meet members of The Dill Pickle Co-Op, a community owned grocery store with one of the city's largest bulk grocery selections in the city. They're a full-service grocery store featuring fresh, local and organic food. You can also find out about getting CSA (community supported agriculture) boxes of farm fresh food delivered weekly.

Kid's menu might not be the first word that comes to mind when you hear Microbrewery, but Revolution Brewing has just that. This amazing eatery brews up 35 different types of beer a year, and still remembers the littles, with crayons and a menu just for them. Their gourmet offerings go far beyond pub grub, and make for a great family evening beyond the local pizza place.

Brown Sack

We also highly recommend this fun eatery as a kid friendly haven of tasty treats. This establishment has enough selection on the menu for even the pickiest eaters in your family. It's a great way to sit and enjoy a nice meal and a good way to beat the heat.
