Attempted Robbery Ends With Bullet Shattering CTA Blue Line Window In Garfield Park
CHICAGO (CBS)-- An attempted robbery on the Blue Line ended with a CTA train window being shattered by a bullet in Garfield Park.
Chicago police said a man with a gun tried to rob another passenger around 2:30 a.m. The victim fought him off, but the attempted robber fired a shot and hit the window.
The victim was not hurt and was able to point out the offender to police a the Pulaski stop. Officers arrested the suspect as he tried to walk away from the scene.
Charges are pending.
