Former Sun-Times columnist Jay Mariotti arrested overnight
Ex-Sun-Times columnist Jay Mariotti was arrested in L.A. Friday night for a domestic disturbance charge, which is a potential felony. Police sources are stating that Mariotti and his girlfriend were allegedly arguing at a club in Santa Monica. The argument continued at the their apartment in Venice where things escalated into some physical altercation. Police were called and Jay was arrested.
He was released Saturday on $50,000 bail.
