First responders called in Rosemont, Illinois, for report of possible kidnapping

First responders in Rosemont, Illinois, were called for a possible kidnapping early Monday morning.

The Rosemont Public Safety Department, which comprises both police and fire services, did not immediately return calls to confirm information. But police dispatchers were heard saying a child was thrown from a car from the Loews Chicago O'Hare Hotel, at 5300 N. River Rd. near Foster Avenue.

Medics in Rosemont transported someone to the hospital from the hotel early Monday morning. It was not immediately clear whether that person was the child thrown from the car.

The dispatch audio indicated that it was an 11-year-old boy who might have been thrown from the car after being kidnapped.

Reached by phone, hotel security did not know anything about the situation.

Rosemont police and fire units were at the scene just after midnight Monday morning.

Questions also remained unanswered Monday morning about who exactly called 911 and what they saw unfold.
