MTV and Yahoo sponsored a live streaming town hall at the Field Museum to celebrate young people who stand up to cyber bullying.

"A lot of kids don't realize that ... your Facebook is a public document," said youth leader Mike Hawkins.

The first town hall is part of National Bullying Prevention Month. The panel featured students, parents, youth leaders and educators.

The interactive town hall is part of a coordinated commitment by Common Sense Media and their partners to provide parents and educators with the tools and information they need to help young people understand the role they play in cyber-bullying, and to empower them to stop it.
