Elgin Woman: Gate-Crashing Teens 'Bent Me In Half' At Lollapalooza

CHICAGO (CBS) -- An Elgin couple is claiming they suffered injuries at this past weekend's Lollapalooza festival.

As WBBM Newsradio's John Waelti reports, Cindy Glaser says it was not the Lollapalooza experience she was counting on.

Glaser, 39, says she and her husband, Jason, were "sitting under a tree minding our own business, and certainly not expecting like this to happen."

She says a mob of teenagers jumped the fence around 5:30 p.m. Friday, as she and her husband waited for the Black Sabbath concert.

"And we're scattering, trying to get into the show, and one of them fell on me, bent me in half, and hit my husband on the way down," Glaser said.

Glaser ended up in the emergency room with a neck sprain, and her husband has been suffering from headaches for the past four days.

Glaser says for sure, this is her last Lollapalooza.

As for her next steps, Glaser says, "definitely, we're going to file a complaint with the Chicago Police, and take it just one step at a time, I guess."
