Dunn Sits Against Davis; Fukudome Back In For Cubs

CHICAGO (CBS) Struggling White Sox slugger Adam Dunn will sit tonight against Cubs left-hander Doug Davis and Gordon Beckham will return to the lineup after getting three games off.

Dunn is just 1-for-48 against left-handed pitchers this season and hasn't had a hit off any pitcher since June 16. He only has seven hits in the month of June.

Carlos Quentin will serve as the designated hitter with Dunn out of the lineup. Lillibridge will play right field and bat eighth. Juan Pierre is still in the leadoff spot with Brent Morel batting second. Beckham will play second and bat ninth.

Meanwhile, Kosuke Fukudome is back in the Cubs lineup after getting the night off Tuesday. Geovany Soto will sit as Koyie Hill catches.

Jake Peavy will make his first start since June 5 for the White Sox.
