Defense Attorney Eyes Jackson Jr.'s Office
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A big name may soon be in the ring to replace embattled Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr.
Sam Adam Jr. -- a high-profile attorney never at a loss for words -- says a lot of people want him to give it a go.
"I would honestly only being doing this because there's a lack of leadership, and if they thought i could be that type of leader for them, it's almost an obligation," Adam told CBS 2 Tuesday.
Adam was an attorney for former Gov. Rod Blagojevich and singer R Kelly.
Adam says he has a long history with the 2nd Congressional District, and input from his wife will influence any decision whether to run.
