Cubs Release 2013 Schedule
(WSCR) The Cubs announced their 2013 schedule on Wednesday.
The Cubs will open the season on the road Monday, April 1 against the Pirates with the Wrigley Field opener taking place Monday, April 8 against the Brewers.
In addition to the visit by Rangers (April 16-18,) the Cubs will face AL West with the Astros (June 21-23) and the Angels (July 9-10). The Cubs make their first-ever visit to play the Athletics in Oakland for a three-game set July 2-4, the only city the club has yet to visit since the advent of interleague play.
The new schedule also features just four games against the White Sox - two at U.S. Cellular Field (May 27 & 28) and two at Wrigley Field (May 29 & 30)
