Crash involving Chicago police vehicle downs pole into building
CHICAGO (CBS)-- A Chicago police car struck a pole overnight.
Police said the officers were driving, in the 1500 block of West North Avenue in West Town just before 1 a.m., when they lost control of the vehicle and hit a pole. CPD said the pole then hit a building.
One officer was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
