Cool Week Ahead For Chicago Area
(CBS) -- The Chicago area is drying out after some rain showers Monday morning and the rest of the day is forecast to be cloudy and cool.
Monday's high is forecast to be 55 degrees, which is below normal as temperatures are usually in the low 60s this time of year.
Wind gust of over 30 miles an hour have been reported throughout the Chicago area Monday morning, including 31 mile-an-hour gusts at O'Hare and 37 in Aurora.
The cool temperatures are expected to linger on, with temperatures not expected to climb out of the 50s for the rest of the week. Tuesday afternoon could also see some rain showers as well.
