Construction worker killed in hit-and-run crash on Kennedy Expressway
CHICAGO (CBS) — Illinois State Police are searching for the driver who hit and killed a construction worker on the Kennedy Expressway.
Around 9:30 p.m., police said the driver hit construction equipment and a worker at Kinzie Street before leaving the scene.
The victim has been identified as 54-year-old Francisco Javierpadilla-Gutierrez.
Police have not given a description of the vehicle.
