Two in custody after burglary at Citizen Skateboard Shop in Uptown
Two people were in custody Tuesday morning after Chicago police said they stole merchandise from an Uptown skateboard shop.
Police said two men broke the front glass door of Citizen Skateboard Shop near Wilson and Clarendon avenues around 1:45 a.m., and took items from the store before fleeing the scene.
Responding officers found the suspects a short time later and took them into custody.
Charges were pending Tuesday morning.
