Chicago Weather: Light Snow And Drizzle Reported Around Area
CHICAGO (CBS) -- As expected, but a little ahead of time, some precipitation was reported around parts of the CBS 2 viewing area Monday night.
The precipitation was very light, with not all of it reaching the ground – and it was falling as snow flurries, drizzle, or mist.
The concern is that we could see freezing drizzle as temperatures drop during the overnight and into the early morning hours. This could cause slippery conditions on untreated surfaces and ice up car windows.
This freezing drizzle can be accompanied by a little snow. We also expect the possibility of a little lake-enhanced snow.
Wednesday brings more cloudy skies and some flurries continue. Temperatures will be seasonable, in the low to mid-30s. The normal high for the date is 31.
