Chicago Actors To Join Ongoing Chicago Symphony Orchestra Strike
CHICAGO (CBS)—Actors from Chicago's theater and television community will join musicians of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra on the picket line this morning.
The CSO musicians went on strike last Monday, demanding a pay raise and guaranteed retirement benefits. All symphony performances have now been cancelled through March 25th.
Today, actors from Chicago Broadway musicals like "Hamilton" and TV shows filed in the city like "Chicago Fire" will march with musicians for a fair contract.
