Chicago police involved in shooting in South Chicago community, COPA says

Chicago police were involved in a shooting Thursday afternoon in the South Chicago neighborhood, according to the Civilian Office of Police Accountability.

The shooting happened in the 8000 block of South Crandon Avenue, police said.

Information from Chicago police was not immediately available.
