Chicago Cubs Offering A 'Doctor's Note' For Fans

CHICAGO (CBS) -- The Chicago Cubs have got your back, Cubs fans.

The team tweeted out the equivalent of a doctor's note for use with your place of employment, school or just about anywhere.

You know, in the event things get a little crazy Wednesday night.

The team offered one for Game 6 and did a quick edit for Game 7.

It starts "Please excuse _______ from class, work, other responsiblity on Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2016 Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016."

First pitch is at 7 p.m. Wednesday, and you can listen to the hometown call on 670-AM The Score. The pitching matchup is Cubs right-hander Kyle Hendricks against Indians right-hander Corey Kluber, and all hands will be on deck out of the bullpen for Chicago.
