CBS Chicago Cares Disaster Relief Telethon Raises More Than $1 Million For Red Cross
(CBS) -- After 14 hours of giving, the CBS Chicago Cares Disaster Relief Telethon raised more than $1,016,514 for the Red Cross.
The money helps people across Chicago who are affected by a disaster. Red Cross volunteers respond to about 70,000 disasters every year.
