CHICAGO (CBS) – Chicago police are investigating after a car crashed into a building in West Loop Sunday morning.

Chicago police say the crash happened around 4:11 a.m., in the 600 block of West Randolph Street.

Police say officers responded to the scene and discovered an unoccupied car that crashed into the entrance of the building.

The occupants of the car fled the scene before officers arrived, police said.

No injuries were reported. The car was towed from the scene.

Circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation by the Major Accidents Investigation Unit.
