Boy, 8, Plunges At Least 20 Feet At Midway Airport
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Police say an 8-year-old boy was being treated for minor injuries Tuesday, after he either jumped or fell 25 to 30 feet from the ticketing area at Midway International Airport.
WBBM Newsradio's Steve Miller reports the boy fell from the ticketing area to a site near a baggage claim office a story below around 1 p.m..
He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was being treated for non-life threatening injuries, according Fire Department Media Affairs Director Larry Langford.
