Body Found In Lake Identified As 16-Year-Old Matthew Garcia, Who Dove In After His Friend In January
CHICAGO (CBS)—A body recovered from Lake Michigan has been identified as a 16-year-old boy who went missing back in January.
Matthew Garcia jumped in the water at Waukegan Municipal Beach after his friend slipped off a pier on Jan 18.
His friend made it out of the water, but searchers were unable to find Garcia.
Garcia's body was discovered last Thursday near a pier in Waukegan Harbor.
