Blackhawks Sign Viktor Svedberg To 2-Year Extension
(CBS) The Blackhawks have signed defenseman Viktor Svedberg to a two-year extension that will run through the end of the 2017-'18 season, the team announced Monday.
The 24-year-old Svedberg has recorded two goals and two assists in 19 games with Chicago this season. He made his NHL debut on Oct. 9. He also has 14 points in 36 at AHL Rockford, where he's currently playing.
When in Chicago, Svedberg has often been on a defensive third line.
