Blackhawks Sign Forward Dennis Rasmussen To 1-Year Deal
(CBS) The Blackhawks have signed forward Dennis Rasmussen to a one-year deal that runs through the end of the 2015-'16 season, they announced Thursday afternoon.
The 25-year-old Rasmussen tallied 27 points (13 goals, 14 assists) in 73 games for the AHL Rockford Icehogs last season. He scored one goal for the Blackhawks in three preseason games a year ago.
Prior to his time in the States, Rasmussen played in the Swedish Hockey League from 2011 to 2014.
