Blackhawks Sign D Kyle Cumiskey To 1-Year Deal
(CBS) The Blackhawks have signed defenseman Kyle Cumiskey to a one-year deal that runs through the end of this season, they announced Thursday.
Cumiskey, 28, played in seven regular-season games and nine postseason games for Chicago as it won the Stanley Cup in 2014-'15. He spent most of the season at AHL Rockford, where he played 54 games.
Most recently, Cumiskey was on a professional tryout with the Icehogs. He's recovering from an upper-body injury right now as well.
