Blackhawks Send Mark McNeill Back To Rockford
(CBS) The Blackhawks have sent forward Mark McNeill back to AHL Rockford, a day after he made his NHL debut in a 5-0 loss to the Hurricanes.
The 22-year-old McNeill had 12:44 of ice time Tuesday, registering three hits and a takeaway. He has 19 points (nine goals, 10 assists) in 29 games with the Icehogs.
The Blackhawks have a week off, as the All-Star Game will be held this weekend.
