Bears Sign WR/KR Deonte Thompson To 1-Year Deal
(CBS) The Bears have signed receiver/kick returner Deonte Thompson to a one-year deal, they announced Thursday.
The 27-year-old Thompson spent the 2015 season with Chicago, returning 14 kickoffs for an average of 29.2 yards. He also had two catches for 81 yards while appearing in seven games.
Prior to playing for the Bears, Thompson spent time with the Ravens and Bills. He entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2012.
