Bank Robbed In Oak Lawn
OAK LAWN (CBS) -- A bank was robbed Saturday morning in southwest suburban Oak Lawn.
The robbery happened at 11:03 a.m. at the U.S. Bank branch at 10270 S. Central Ave. in Oak Lawn, according to a statement from the FBI. The incident was described as a non-takeover robbery, but further details were not immediately available.
The suspect was described as a heavyset black male weighing at least 200 pounds, the FBI said. He wore glasses, a baseball cap and dark jeans.
