Fire Sweeps Through Back Of The Yards Apartment Building
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A fire ripped through an apartment building in Back of the Yards Monday afternoon.
The Fire Department was called at 1:17 p.m. for the fire at 45th and Justine streets. A still-and-box alarm was called for additional personnel and equipment.
Photos from the scene showed charring on the upper floor of the two-unit frame building, surrounded by melted aluminum siding.
No one was injured in the fire.
