(CBS) -- Chicago police are investigating after another racist slur was heard on the police radio Sunday night.
The comment came Sunday evening. A male could be heard saying: "Will you shoot all these (expletives) and get it over with?"
Chicago police say someone from outside law enforcement is breaking onto the airwaves.
"The racial comments are abhorrent and absolutely unacceptable. We've confirmed these are coming from external, unauthorized radios accessing emergency frequencies," a Chicago Police Department spokesman said in a prepared statement.
This comes a week after similar racial slurs were heard over the police radio.
