CHICAGO (CBS)-- A judge gave Crystal Lake permission to tear down a dark reminder of young AJ  Freund's death.

No one currently lives in the run-down home.

Prosecutors say that's where 5-year old AJ was beaten to death 7-months ago.

A-j's parents Jo-Anne Cunningham and Andrew Freund have been charged with his murder.
