No one was in custody Sunday evening.

At 4:12 p.m. in West Garfield Park, two people walked up to a 23-year-old man on a sidewalk near West End and Keystone avenues and opened fire, hitting him in the chest and abdomen. He died at Stroger Hospital, police said.

The Cook County medical examiner's office did not immediately have information on those deaths.

Sunday morning in the West Side Austin neighborhood, a vehicle pulled up to a 14-year-old boy standing at the corner of North and Luna avenues about 5 a.m. and someone inside it fired shots, hitting the boy in the head, police said. He was taken to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, where he was pronounced dead. Authorities have not released his name.

Just before 3 a.m. in the Marquette Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side, a 25-year-old man got into an argument at a house party in the 7000 block of South Artesian and someone shot him in the head, police said. He died at the scene. Family members identified him as Darius Brownlee.

About midnight, officers responding to a call of a person shot in the West Side Homan Square neighborhood found 24-year-old Jesus Valois on the porch of his home in the 3700 block of West Grenshaw with a gunshot wound to the chest, according to police and the medical examiner's office. He had been shot at a different location before returning home to tell his family what happened, police said. Valois died at 1:30 a.m. at Mount Sinai Hospital.

Someone drove them to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, where their conditions were stabilized. Police said two males were arguing on the street at the time when gunfire erupted.
