At least 47 transgender or gender non-conforming people have been violently killed in the U.S. so far this year, according to the Human Rights Campaign.
The parents are asking the court to protect "the right to raise their children."
The suit calls the law unconstitutional and discriminatory against transgender children.

The workers, who are organized by "Team Trans," believe the special is transphobic and are calling for Netflix to commit to releasing more "intersectional" content.

The lawsuit claims the bill imposes on the free speech and academic freedom of Oklahoma students and teachers.
