I-290 In Worcester Reopens After Temporary Closure In Both Directions
WORCESTER (CBS) – Interstate 290 was shut down for less than an hour in both directions Sunday, but has since reopened.
I-290 East and West were both closed near Belmont Street around 11 a.m. and reopened by noon.
Drivers were being encouraged to seek an alternate route during a police incident. No one was injured.
