Elderly Man Dies After Tree Cutting Accident

ROWLEY (CBS) – An 81-year-old Rowley man died from injuries he suffered when a tree fell on him Thursday morning in Rowley.

The man was helping a neighbor cut down the tree on Main Street just after 11 a.m. when it landed on him.

MedFlight was called to the scene. The man was transported to a Boston hospital with life-threatening injuries but did not survive.
