In-person early voting wraps up Thursday; turnout down as many Marylanders request mail-in ballots

Nikki Charlson, deputy administrator of the Maryland State Board of Elections, said more than 160,000 residents cast their ballot during the in-person early voting period, compared with 222,000 four years ago.
