Woman Struck, Injured Trying to Cross Coastal Highway
OCEAN CITY, Md. (AP) -- Ocean City Police say a woman trying to cross Coastal highway against a pedestrian signal is in critical condition at Shock Trauma in Baltimore.
The department said in a news release that the 19-year-old woman from New Jersey was cross the highway late Friday near 127th Street. Officers say the woman was hit by an SUV.
Police say the woman was taken to a local hospital, then to Shock Trauma.
The crash is under investigation.
