Wintry Mix Heading Into Maryland—What To Expect?
BALTIMORE (WJZ) — A significant amount of rain and sleet are expected in parts of Maryland. A Winter Weather Advisory has been posted for counties west of Baltimore, starting at midnight tonight.
A Winter Storm Warning is also in effect in Garrett and extreme western Allegany counties from 6 p.m. Sunday to 6 p.m. Monday.

Rain/snow mix breaks out.
Overnight:
Changes to more snow and sleet for most of the Baltimore region west.
Monday morning:
Any wintry weather starts mixing with rain again around Baltimore, but hangs on north and west of the city.
Monday during the day:
Warmer air will slowly spread up and over the state from the south -changing anything wintry over to rain.
Monday night:
Rain.
Accumulations:
Slushy coating possible on non-paved surfaces around Baltimore.
1-2" with sleet and rain mixed in for Carroll, Frederick, and maybe northern Baltimore Counties
1-3" with sleet and rain mixed in for Washington County
3-6" with sleet mixed in for Garrett and Allegany Counties
